Passion.com is an online dating site. But unlike eHarmony- which seems to be focused on the anal-retentive workaday conservative Palin-loving sub-population of church-going meat-eating Americans- Passion.com is raunchier and racier. And that makes it more true. More of an accurate representation of life. In the post-modern world, life is pornographic.
Passion.com is, in fact, nothing more than a kinder and gentler front-end for the conspicuously dirty king of the adult dating sites, Adult Friend Finder. Same database, same membership, same tools, same community.
They’ve just released a few commercials that play on the I’m-a-Mac and I’m-a-PC set-up. I love ‘em. Here’s the first one:

So is Passion like Nerve when it was nervy (doesn’t look like it)?
I’m not in the market for that sort of thing these days, but I sure met some interesting people on Nerve.com back in the day.
eHarmony and similarly annoying dating sites didn’t strike me as remotely interesting. Someone would have to be terribly desperate to pay to date, but I can understand why the “anal-retentive workaday conservative Palin-loving sub-population of church-going meat-eating Americans” would do so.
