I just ordered Atlas Shrugged for my girlfriend and I to begin reading. I hear it is great. I already am a lover of freedom, which means not only social freedom but also economic freedom. In my experience, Republicans hate social freedom but want economic freedom. Democrats hate economic freedom but want social freedom. Libertarians want both social and economic freedom. That counts for something, in my book. Porn is honest as well, in its own way. Ayn Rand asks the right questions but 99.99% of the human race wants to avoid growing up if they can manage it so libertarianism in practice is like trying to plow the ocean.
