This blog originally belonged to my friend and business partner, Sherman McCoy. But he’s fucking dead now. He died in late July 2009 of some unknown infection after smoking way too much hash during a trip we took together to Copenhagen, Denmark.

So I’ve taken over his blog. I’m Julius “Ray” Hoffman and this is my blog now, motherfucker! MWAHAHAHA!

The first incarnation of The Money Shot Blog was here on blogspot from 2006 – 2008. Unfortunately that site was relegated to the Google “warning page” ghetto and all the search engine juice evaporated.

Now the blog is out in the open world again. So link to it, you fucker!

Your Dead Host

Dead Sherman used to work as an Algorithm Trading Specialist on Wall Street, but he quit in August 2007 and moved to California to schlock porn and other things full-time over the ‘net. Wall Street started to really fall apart after he left, so it was good timing… And he always wanted to be a pornographer. Or a politician. Or a mob boss.

As for me, Julius Ray Hoffman… well, my background is totally fucking secret. I’m more of a spirit than a physical entity anyway. Like the fucking ghost in the pornographic machine. Like the silent fucking majority. Like the sands of an hourglass that make the days of your life…

This is a Post-Modern blog. What’s that mean, you ask? It means whatever you want it to mean. If my dead co-blogger and I were to ascribe a meaning to that label, it would only be as a result of our powerful position here as the writers of this page and you as the lowly wankoholic scrub. And then you would be able to deconstruct our contention anyway, with or without the notions of Marxist power dynamics. So instead let’s just say… It’s pomo, bitch!
